By any standard the 54m (177’) Helios 3 is a splendid yacht. Built by Delta in 2012, she has exceptional volume (776GT) and a versatile layout covering over 7,500 square feet (1,000m2) of living area, with 7 staterooms sleeping up to 16 guests.
Engineered and designed by the Delta Design Group, Helios 3’s light, ‘Pacific Rim’ inspired interior with large windows is as elegant as it is welcoming: the ideal multi-generational home on the water.
Helios 3 features a full-beam owner’s suite on the upper deck, and a fully equipped gym, a media room and a guest office on the main deck forward. An elevator serves all decks from the lower deck to the sundeck.
Her current owner purchased HELIOS 3 in 2015 and immediately took her back to Delta Marine for a refit including a hull and bridge deck extension (respectively by 4m/13’ and 2.5m/8’).
Built to travel and explore, HELIOS 3 is equipped with twin Caterpillar 3512B engines that give her a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a maximum speed of over 16 knots. She has proven herself as an amazing “go anywhere at any time” yacht. Her global voyages have included multiple transatlantic and transpacific crossings. She has excellent storage capacities from stand-up bilges to extensive refrigeration which are necessary for such adventures.
