FORMOSA Benetti - 2015 / 2025

The 60m/196’ oriental inspired Formosa was custom built to an exceptionally high standard by Benetti in 2015. A modern classic, she is built over five decks and has excellent internal volume (1,089GT) thanks to her ample 10.4m/34’ beam.
Her streamlined, full displacement steel hull with bulbous bow and aluminum superstructure, incorporates a touch and go helipad on the sun deck. An exceptional ocean-going yacht with a proven globe-trotting track record, Formosa is as comfortable as she is seaworthy.
The exterior decks are planned to maximize the use of each area while her beautiful interior was designed by the gifted Sander Sinot. Still relatively unknown at the time. Sinot was an inspired choice, since his clean, uncluttered Asian-inspired aesthetic is focused on harmony, balance, meticulous craftsmanship and natural materials.
FORMOSA accommodates up to 13 guests in 6 staterooms including a spacious owner’s apartment.
FORMOSA is built to ABS class and commercially registered. She is powered by twin MTU 12V4000 M53 engines and can reach a top speed of 16 knots. She cruises at 14 knots and at 12 knots has a range of 4,750 nautical miles. For comfort she is equipped with Naiad zero speed stabilizers.
FORMOSA’s track record attests to her world-class seaworthiness and performance. Since delivery, FORMOSA spent five years circumnavigating the world and has cruised the Pacific for the last four years.
