AWATEA Royal Hakvoort
AWATEA Royal Hakvoort - 2008 / 2022
AWATEA is a triumph Dutch design and construction. Launched by Royal Hakvoort in 2008, her all-Dutch team include Cor de Rover for the exterior, Felix Buytendijk for the interior and Diana Yacht Design for the naval architecture. The result is a timeless oceangoing motoryacht. Built in steel and aluminum her profile and distinctive “Peter Blue” custom hull color make her instantly recognizable.
The interior layout makes the most of AWATEA’s 45m/499 GT. A lot of smart thinking went into organizing the space elegantly and efficiently and most people are under the impression she is well over, not under, 500 GT.
AWATEA’s nautical interior reminiscent of a classic sailboat accommodates ten guests, with two additional pullman berths. The full-beam owners’ stateroom, with 2.30m ceilings, is accessed via a roomy private study.
Fresh from a multi-million refit, AWATEA was built to Lloyds commercial classification standards and can easily be MCA compliant for charter.
