MANGUSTA OCEANO 50 HULL #08 SOLD The award winning 50m semi-custom yacht, designed to maximize Ocean living, has been a huge success on the market
Stuart is pleased to announce the sale of the new build 49.9m/163'9" Mangusta Oceano, hull #08. Built in steel and aluminium by Overmarine, the 499GT semi-custom yacht will be delivered in July 2028.
This is Stuart’s 5th sale in 2025. Last year Stuart represented the 43m/141’ Halara (now named Toy) for sale and was extremely impressed by Alberto Mancini’s creative yet functional layout and Mangusta’s full displacement capabilities, very well proven in HALARA. Being a sailor as well as a talented designer, Mancini maximized space on board, connected both interior and exterior areas to the sea and packed a surprising number of interesting features into 450GT.
Hull #08 and the longer 50m Oceano series offer more of the same on a grander scale, wrapped in an eye-catching yet beautifully balanced exterior that hints at speed, Mangusta’s DNA – although the Oceano 50 is a full displacement yacht with a bulbous bow. The Oceano 50 series is equipped with two MTU engines, her top speed is 16 knots and she cruises at 12 knots while her range is 4,500 nautical miles. The Oceano 50 has won two awards, most recently 'Best in Show' at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The Oceano 50m can sleep up to 12 guests in six staterooms with an on-deck forward facing master, featuring a “push button” fold-down balcony to starboard, a full width VIP aft and below and four guest staterooms amidships.
In addition to the main deck inside-outside salon, which opens on three sides, the design of the exterior space and the features it includes is where the Oceano 50 shines. The beach area develops over three on-water terraces while a pool is fitted into the long, uncluttered foredeck with fixed and modular seating, sunbeds and a garage underneath. Hull #08 has been modified to include not only the foredeck pool but a pool on the aft deck as well as an infinity panoramic pool on the sundeck.
