NEW CENTRAL AGENCY – MOSAIQUEA large volume yacht with a Hampton Beach vibe designed for summer living
Stuart is pleased to announce his appointment as Central Agent for the sale of Mosaique, the 49.60m I 164’ full displacement yacht built by Proteksan Turquoise (now Turquoise Yachts) in 2002.
MOSAIQUE’s beautifully proportioned exterior lines are by Ed Dubois who was also responsible for her naval architecture. Her interior layout and décor were by another yachting icon, the British designer Donald Starkey, the recipient of over 25 awards at international yachting exhibitions. While the interior has been entirely redecorated, it echoes Starkey’s effortless elegance. The well-proportioned areas are decorated in soft neutral tones with a chic “Hamptons Beach” vibe, also thanks to her new hardwood floors throughout.
Originally conceived with an eye to the yacht’s charter potential, MOSAIQUE makes excellent use of her 589 gross tons, which is above the average for a 50m yacht. In splendid condition thanks to multiple cosmetic and technical upgrades and refits, the most recent in 2022, MOSAIQUE accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, including a full beam master stateroom and a VIP stateroom on the main deck, as well as four additional staterooms, three doubles and one twin with ensuite bathrooms, on the lower deck. She accommodates up to 12 crew in 6 cabins.
MOSAIQUE has excellent exterior deck space including a large sundeck with a whirlpool and bar forward and sheltered al fresco dining. Another option for al fresco dining is on the upper deck aft. A large swim platform offers good access to the water. She carries a BSC 66 (6.6m I 20’) tender with 200HP Yamaha outboard engine, seating 12, as well as a 4.2m rescue tender and a large fleet of water toys.
MOSAIQUE completed her 20 Year ABS Classification surveys in 2022 when her main Caterpillar 3508 engines were overhauled and her Caterpillar 3306BT generators were rebuilt. A successful charter yacht on both sides of the Atlantic, she has proven herself in long range cruising and has excellent sea keeping characteristics. At 14 knots she has a 4,500 nm range and her top speed is 15 knots. For extra comfort she is equipped with Quantum Zero Speed at anchor stabilizers. Cayman flagged and classed by ABS, she is MCA compliant for commercial use and is of course ISM compliant as well.
MOSAIQUE is asking $13,9million and will be viewable at anchor during the Monaco Yacht Show from September 25 to 28. For more information contact Stuart at +1 954 328 6553 or stuart.larsen@fraseryachts.com . Mosaique is not offered for sale to US residents while in US waters.
