AWATEA IS BACK ON THE MARKET New photography for Stuart’s most recent central listing

The 45-metre (147’ 6”) AWATEA, custom built by Hakvoort in 2008, is back on the market. Her 5-stateroom layout has a full-beam master, lovely spaces everywhere including a great sky lounge and exterior decks, as well as a tender garage that converts into a proper beach club or gym. With a level of warmth and personality that is rare in a yacht of her size, she is one of the most charming motoryacht on the market today.

The result of an all-Dutch collaboration between Cor de Rover for her exterior, Felix Buytendijk and Diana Yacht Design for her interior and naval architecture respectively, she has a dynamic silhouette enhanced by her custom Peter Blue paintwork offset by her white superstructure.

A proper oceangoing motor yacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, AWATEA feels more like a 50m+ yacht than a 45m. Her spacious interior, which includes elements of sailing yacht décor with a New England twist, was refitted in 2023.

AWATEA was built to Lloyds class and is MCA compliant. Although she has only been used privately, she can be operated on a fully professional basis. AWATEA accommodates up to 10 guests and 9 crew. The full beam owners’ suite, accessed via a study, is located forward on the main deck. It feels very airy thanks to large windows and exceptional 2.30m or 7’6” headroom.

The lower deck has four guest cabins, larger than those commonly found on a 45-metre yacht including two double or twin cabins and two VIPs, each with an en-suite bathroom and an extra Pullman bunk. All cabins feature Creston controls to manage the Kaleidescape AV system, lighting, curtains and air-conditioning.

AWATEA is powered by two Caterpillar diesel 3508B engines and has a range of 4,600 nm at 11.3 knots. With proven seaworthiness including trips to Norway and the Pacific, her full displacement hull is capable of comfortable worldwide cruising, also thanks to her VT Naiad zero speed stabilizers.

Beautifully maintained and ready for immediate use, a rare opportunity in the current market, AWATEA is asking USD 21,9M. Contact Stuart at For more information contact Stuart at +1 954 328 6553 or stuart.larsenfraseryachts.com .
