NEW CENTRAL LISTING - CALLIOPE The highly successful ‘ocean-ready’, large volume semi-custom yacht

Stuart is pleased to announce his appointment as central agent for the sale of CALLIOPE, the 142’ semi-custom yacht built by Richmond in 2007.

An all-American classic with ocean-going capability and amazing volume, CALLIOPE is a brilliant example of Richmond’s successful strategy focused on semi-custom fiberglass yachts with high-quality interiors and innovative, including thoughtful features not found on competitor vessels.

Space was maximized inside and out - CALLIOPE feels much larger than her 43m /395 gross tons - and her functional layout designed for leisure and entertainment reflects the more informal approach to yachting appreciated by the American market. There is an owner’s open galley and less partitioning than in a European yacht.

CALLIOPE’s all-American build team included the award-winning naval architect, Ward Setzer known for his “go anywhere bluewater ready" yachts.  Her functional interior by Sven Pavlik featuring impeccably book-matched mahogany veneer joinery, can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 double staterooms, as well as 8 crew members. The master suite with private office, his and her bathrooms and walk-in cedar-lined closet, is on the main deck and two twin and two queen staterooms are on the lower deck. There is a VIP on the bridge deck that doubles as the captains’ cabin when not used by guests.

With al fresco dining on the main and upper decks, one of CALLIOPE’s key attractions is her huge sun deck, built around a central whirlpool. It has a bar and an observation area forward, while the tender storage area aft is used as a sunbathing area when the tenders are in the water.
She carries two RIB tenders, a 16’ Walker Bay RIB tender with a 90HP Yamaha outboard engine and a 10’ AB Lammina RIB with an electric engine. Both tenders were new in 2022.

Built to go anywhere, CALLIOPE has a shallow draft for coastal cruising but is a proven world cruiser and recently completed a three-year circumnavigation of the globe. A bulbous bow was added during the 2022 refit for fuel efficiency. Classed by ABS, although CALLIOPE is now used privately, she has an enviable track-record on the international charter market.
CALLIOPE is US duty paid and asking USD 15,500,000. she can be viewed by appointment.
